gingers

It is ginger season. I am kind of missing digging that ginger out of the ground. Not missing washing it - especially when I got bit by a centipede that was stuck in the garbage bag I was wearing at the time.
note: garbage bags are the only suitable wearing material for ginger-washing.
I am enjoying eating the shit out of ginger still. I am attempting to make my own ginger wine and am currently on batch two (hopefully this one is palatable). But Green River Ambrosia is doing it well with their Ginger Libation.
Also, Maine is dishing out some awesome ginger brews of the non-alcoholic variety
And Bklyn Larder is making some amazing ginger molasses cookies. Basically, I like any ginger product in which you can feel the burn and their cookies actually did that - impressive.
